The Clinician’s Toolbox

Terms of Use

Last updated: November 7, 2026

In short: these tools help licensed clinicians write documents faster. They don’t replace your clinical judgment, and you’re responsible for reviewing everything before you sign or send it. Please don’t copy or resell the tools.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use apply to clinicianstoolbox.app and the tools available on it (the “Tools”), provided by The Clinician’s Toolbox (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Tools, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Tools.

2. Who the Tools are for

The Tools are intended for licensed healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, acting within their scope of practice. They’re not intended for use by patients or the general public to make health decisions.

3. What the Tools do, and what they don’t

The Tools help you organize your findings and produce documents such as reports, strength summaries, and patient letters. They are documentation aids. They do not examine patients or make clinical decisions, and they are not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. Any wording the Tools suggest, including recommendations in a report or letter, is a starting point for you to review and edit.

The Dynamometry Norms Guide compares your measurements with normative values transcribed from published research. Published norms vary with the equipment, testing position, and population studied, and transcription errors are possible. Reference values and any flags the Tools display are for context only.

The MSK Ultrasound Report Builder covers common findings but cannot anticipate every case. You may need to edit a report to describe your findings accurately.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Patient information

The Tools run in your web browser. Information you enter is not sent to us, and we do not receive, store, or have access to patient information you type into the Tools. Some Tools can remember your practice details on your own device if you choose. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Please don’t send patient information, such as names or dates of birth, to us by email or any other way.

6. Ownership and permitted use

We own the Tools, including their design, code, and text. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the Tools in your own clinical work. You may freely use, edit, and share the documents you create with them.

You may not copy, modify, redistribute, resell, or host the Tools themselves, or build a competing product from them, without our written permission.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue any part of the Tools at any time. The Tools are currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll explain the terms before you’re asked to pay.

8. No warranty

The Tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the Tools will be error-free or always available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from clinical decisions, documents, or communications made using the Tools.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Tools after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
